Multiple champion of the Olympic Games will award the best eSports player

It has transpired who will reward the winner in “The best player” category at The Game Awards 2016 ceremony. It will be Michael Phelps, 23-fold winner of the Olympic Games and 26-fold World champion, professional swimmer from the USA.

This record breaking master will grant the prize to the most outstanding eSports player of the year on 2nd December. The rewarding ceremony will take place at Microsoft Theater (Los Angeles, California). Online voting for the title includes the following candidates:

  • Lee Sang Hyeok (Faker), Korean League of Legends player from SK Telecom T1 team;

  • Marcelo David (coldzera), Brazilian CS:GO player for SK Gaming club;

  • Byun Hyun Woo (ByuN) from South Korea, playing StarCraft II for Team Expert;

  • Lee Seeon-Woo (Infiltrator), Korean Street Fighter V eSports player from Team Razer;

  • Juan Debiedma (Hungrybox), American Super Smash Bros player for Team Liquid club.
