A graphic designer from the Philippines created mascots for popular Dota 2 teams

Like representatives of traditional sports, eSports teams also have their symbols. They take care of hashtags, emblems and team uniform. However, an amateur graphic designer from the Philippines Webster Luostan decided that it wasn’t enough. As a real basketball and Dota 2 fan, he wanted eSports teams to have their mascots.

Having started with creating cartoon-like heroes, he soon switched to stylized pictures of his favorite eSportsmen from TNC Pro Team. To support them at StarLadder i-League Invitational the designer created a picture for every participant and then came out with a mascot.

Especially for EPICENTER 2017 Webster decided to continue what he’d stared and depicted mascots for all the participants and a couple of other popular Dota 2 teams. Some characters were quite predictable (for example, a Virtus.pro bear) but the designer also created quite original ones (for instance, a Team Secret cyclops). Let’s view his work in detail.
